“THE LAND “by
MILDRED D TAYLOR. The prequel to “Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry.
This book takes place
just after the Civil War. It is the story of a man who was also had a
negro mistress; therefore having two families. It is very
interesting book and keeps you reading. While it is classified as a
young adult book I recommend it for every age . The call number at
the library is T800484
Once again I thrilled
as I reread Section 128 in the Doctrine and Covenants. Which gives
directions on baptism for the dead. If you convert one person to the
gospel and they do Temple Work for their ancestors back for 100 years
in essence you have helped convert 1000 souls.
